ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

I’ve taught enough youth fishing classes to know the endearing and enduring appeal of the spincast reel. Most kids and beginners can handle spinning tackle. We typically encourage folks to work their way into the more accurate and time-efficient baitcast reel. Even so, the spincast reel’s push-button simplicity presents a bridge that might spur beginners to expand their skills, while learning on a very forgiving platform. With Daiwa quality and precision, the revamped Silvercast advances this objective.
