Gear Elite Man Cave: Clent Davis Posted on November 22, 2021 Photo: Kyle Jessie - Welcome to Clent Davis' Alabama man cave. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis recently hosted the Montevallo Bass Team to his large man cave to help the anglers wrap their boats for the upcoming season. Many years ago, Davis started the Montevallo Bass Fishing Team, which is now recognized as one of the largest teams in the country. Photo: Kyle Jessie - The right side of Davis' man cave is home to a mixture of things â tackle, hats, boat cleaner and his work bench. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Like many Elite Series pros, Davis has baits hanging all over the place. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Amongst the hanging baits is a handful of Yo-Zuri hard baits as well as Nichols Spinnerbaits. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis' work bench is used for a number of things, but mostly for pouring lead to make jigheads during the offseason. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Swimbait jigheads and football jigs are the two things Davis pours the most. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis stores all of his molds just above the work bench for easy access. Photo: Kyle Jessie - A Duel Hardcore Twitch'n Ninja Glider was also on the table. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis' dog "Big G" was also assisting with the tour of the man cave. Big G spends a good amount of his time in the cave as well. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Part of being a professional angler is being a part-time mechanic, so Davis keeps a wide variety of tools in the corner of the shop. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis did mention that he wants to avoid digging around in the toolbox if it's at all possible. Photo: Kyle Jessie - A large gun case has a home in Davis' shop. Photo: Kyle Jessie - While this may look like a giant mess, this is a lure retriever that was gifted to Davis by Anthony Goggins. Evidently it's the most effective lure retriever he's ever used. Photo: Kyle Jessie - The back corner of the man cave is home to an abundance of fishing tackle. Davis was in the process of filling new tackleboxes and preparing for the upcoming 2022 season. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis carries his bulk tackle in giant tubs. Each tub is labeled for easy access when he needs to restock an item or take a box with him on the road. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis' other dog Charlie stopped by to say hello. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Gamakatsu's new Under Spin Head will certainly have a place in Davis' tacklebox for the upcoming year. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Large spools of Yo-Zuri line are a must for Davis to maintain fresh line on all of his reels. If you look closely, you will see big spools of line all over his man cave. Photo: Kyle Jessie - The Alabama angler shows off a box full of new Yo-Zuri products. Photo: Kyle Jessie - The majority of his remaining tackle has a spot on a metal rack. Photo: Kyle Jessie - More baits are hanging around. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis keeps a bag of spare vibrating jigs ready when needed. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis was surprised to find a toy that was left in the shop by his daughter. Photo: Kyle Jessie - A look at Davis' Phoenix boat inside the shop. Photo: Kyle Jessie - A wire hangs down the side of the shop, allowing him to hang items such as rod socks with ease. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Not every man cave has a $300,000 check hanging on the wall. Photo: Kyle Jessie - It's evident that Davis is a hardcore deer hunter by the number of deer antlers on the wall. He was gearing up to head to Illinois to deer hunt at the time this tour was shot. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Here is a unique buck that was harvested in Alabama. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis stores his excess rods on the side wall for easy access. Photo: Kyle Jessie - No lack of rods for the Elite Series pro. Photo: Kyle Jessie - ... Photo: Kyle Jessie - ... Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis represents a local clothing company in Coosa Cotton. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Not quite a $300,000 check, but this $20,000 was huge for Davis early on in his career as a co-angler on the FLW Tour. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Davis does his best to keep as much Bassmaster Classic memorabilia as possible. Photo: Kyle Jessie - Just a short walk from Davis' shop is his garage, which is home to numerous cool items. Photo: Kyle Jessie - After winning the 2018 Forrest Wood Cup, current Alabama State Senator April Weaver recognized Davis for his accomplishment. Photo: Kyle Jessie - ...
